Works like a charm
Pros: It is none-conductive, easily remove when installing a new CPU cooler. Compared to Arctic Silver Ceramique, the temperature is no difference. However, the AC MX-2 isn't as sticky as the AS-Cermique. In contrast to other products, this compound does not show decreasing performance over time, does not need to be reapplied and has a durability of at least 8 years.
Cons: It taste nasty.
Overall Review: I highly recommend it.
Work great for a monthj
Pros: I have no pros. The monitor only lasted 1 month after purchased.
Cons: After a month of use, the Viewsonic XG2703-GS can no longer go above 144hz. When I overclocked, the monitor starts blinking on and off. I tried going online to find tech support but their website does not work. I even register the product but logging into the account required me to get to confirm the email. Oddly, I never received that confirmation email. So I cannot RMA the Monitor.
Overall Review: Because of my bad experience with this monitor, I cannot recommend this product. It doesn't last that long. They have no technical support number only customer service support. This is my last ViewSonic Monitor, the ex
Amazing sound
Pros: It sounds like I am in the movie theater and it's not RGB.
Cons: None. This one of the best
Overall Review: I recommend it if you prefer soundcards.
Build a new PC with the i9 10900X CPU
Pros: My old ASUS Strix X99 MB just finally stop working. So I recently rebuild my PC using ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II LGA 2066 with the Intel Core i9-10900X CPU. I know everyone wants a Ryzen but to be honest. I like this better because it is available. It easily overclocked and with my Corsair iCue Cappellix AIO 360mm cooler.
Cons: Non.
Overall Review: I have no regrets with the upgrade.
Best Upgrade I made from ASUS ROG Strix X99 to ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II
Pros: After my older ROG Strix X99 stop booting, I decided to upgrade my mother board to the ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II. I build the computer with the Intel Core i9-10900X Cascade Lake 10-Core 3.7 GHz LGA 2066, and 8 G.SKILL Trident Z RGB. For installing WIndows 10 Pro I use the SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB - M.2. I have one Western Digital 2 TB Passport for External HD, one Western Digital Red NAS 14 TB HDD, and another 10 West Red NAS 10 TB HDD. I reused the older EVGA 2080 Super XC for my GPU (Nvidia 300 series GPUs are out of stock) so I stick with my older GPU. I build the new rig into my Phanteks Enthoo Pro Integrated RGB lighting Tempered Glass Side Panel ATX Full Tower Computer Case which took about an hour to build. After all the hardware were install, I turn on the mother and it boot to Windows and started installing theWindows 10 Pro. For cooling the Intel Core i9-10900X I used the Corsair Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix Liquid AIO.
Cons: The only issue I have is the error on the Device Manager. Listed on the Other devices, I have this error. "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). There are no compatible drivers for this device. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver." The location for this error is from PCI bus 178, device 23, function 1. I tried upgrading the Installing the drives for Intel Chipset from the ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II but it didn't fix it. I think it is a false positive. I tried looking for a solution online but there wasn't any. Either Windows need to run an update or ASUS update their BIOS.
Overall Review: Overall, the upgrade was worth it. Most folks recommend upgrading to Ryzen but I am use to running a MB with 8 DIMMs support. The Threadripper was way over my budget so I decided to pick ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II with the Intel Core i9-10900X on it.
Didn't post
Cons: No longer works
Overall Review: Replaced this MB with the ASUS ROG Strix X299 Gaming II
Dead on arrival
I don't know what happen but either the shipper mishandled the package because when I received the ASUS Strix X99 MB, it didn't boot to Windows during installation. I like to add that when I got the package, it wasn't put in secure box. Rather, the motherboard was covered in paper package with bubble wrap inside it. The box itself from the Motherboard had a dent, and I can only guess that the MB was damage during shipment. I don't recommend the seller. They don't know how to handle packages.
Good.
Yes. I recommend it.
